SLOI November 2024 Food Drive

On November 9, 2024, Save Life Outreach Initiatives united to create a positive impact. Due to the efforts of our committed volunteers, Brother Delroy Anderson, Brother Konrad Thompson, Brother Calvin, Minister Linton, Minister Ross, Sister Nerisa, and Sister Sutton successfully distributed 25 food baskets to individuals in need. Pastor Anderson appreciates the collaboration and dedication shown in supporting our community. He encourages anyone facing difficulties in affording groceries to visit our website and sign up for a food basket. Your information will remain private. SLOI is currently requesting donations for our food drive. Your kindness enables us to keep delivering vital food assistance to those who require it most. By joining forces, we have the ability to create a meaningful difference in our community.

SLOI October 2024 Food Drive

Save Life Outreach Initiatives extends warm wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving to all. The SLOI team meticulously sorted and packed 25 bags of food items for families once again. Pastor Anderson, Brother Konrad, Brother Calvin, Minister Linton, Minister Ross, Sister Nerisa, Sister Maria, and Sister Sutton collaborated effectively to ensure that all the bags were prepared for delivery or pickup by the recipients. SLOI September 2024 Food Drive

The recent food drive was a resounding success, thanks in large part to the dedicated SLOI volunteers. They were not only pleased to serve but also amazed at the overwhelming generosity of the community, especially the significant food donations from Durham Church. They prepared a total of 23 bags of food, with an additional 24 bags surpassing our expectations. With this amount of food collected, we were able to assist many families in need. Pastor Anderson played a crucial role in helping organize the efforts. Special thanks go to Minister Linton, Minister Ross, Brother Calvin, Sister Sutton, Brother Delroy, Sister Nerisa, Brother Konrad, and Sister Joan for their dedicated service.

The spirit of teamwork and compassion was evident throughout the event, showcasing the power of collective action in addressing food insecurity. We were truly able to assist those in need through this collaborative effort. SLOI August 2024 Food Drive

Brother Delroy Anderson, Brother Konrad Thompson, Minister Linton, Minister Ross, Pastor Beverley Anderson, Pastor Anderson, Brother Calvin, Sister Joan, Sister Nerisa Johnson, and Sister Sutton helped pack, organize, and distribute 23 food bags to those in need within the community on Saturday, August 10, 2024. Pastor Anderson extends his sincere appreciation to the generous donors who make monthly contributions to Save Life Outreach. In addition, he is reaching out to others for donations because the organization is facing a rise in the community’s growing needs. SLOI July 2024 Food Drive

On Saturday, July 13, 2024, the Save Life Outreach Initiatives team had yet another triumphant food drive, packing 35 bags of food to distribute to individuals in the community. The generous donation from Brother Shevaun of Durham Church, which greatly enhanced our supplies, was a standout moment of the event. Pastor Anderson, the founder, expressed deep gratitude for the additional food received and was overjoyed to see how the bags were able to make a positive impact on the lives of numerous individuals. The day was brimming with gratitude and camaraderie as the volunteers embraced the joy of giving.

SLOI June 2024 Food Drive

Save Life Outreach Initiatives organized a highly successful food drive at RTT on Saturday, June 8, 2024. The team of volunteers, led by Pastor Anderson and Pastor Beverley Anderson, along with Brother Delroy Anderson, Brother Konrad Thompson, Pastor Joel Josephs, Minister Linton, Minister Ross, Brother Calvin, Sister Sutton, Sister Nerisa Johnson and Sister Donna worked together to pack 35 bags of food for community recipients. Pastor Anderson expressed gratitude to Durham Church for their generous food donation, which provided significant support to the initiative.

Grateful acknowledgements were given to Sister Kim and Sister Nerisa Johnson for generously dedicating their time alongside other volunteers. The volunteers consisted of a group of dedicated individuals who were committed to serving their community. Pastor Anderson expressed great joy and gratitude for the collective efforts and collaboration of everyone involved. Season’s greetings to all, as the SLOI team wraps up another year of giving to numerous families in the community. Pastor Anderson, along with his granddaughter, Aniyah Anderson, Pastor Beverley Anderson, Brother Delroy Anderson, Brother Konrad Thompson, Pastor Joel Josephs, Minister Linton, Minister Ross, Brother Calvin, and Sister Sutton, worked in harmony to organize and distribute 30 food bags to families in the community.

As the holidays approach, Team SLOI will continue to assist people in need in our community. The diligent team, which included Pastor Anderson, Pastor Joel Josephs, Pastor Beverley Anderson, Brother Delroy Anderson, Minister Linton, Minister Ross, Brother Konrad Thompson, and Brother Calvin, gave 30 food bags to the numerous individuals who signed up on the website this month. As the need grows, Pastor Anderson invites everyone to remember people in need and donate to the charity via info@savelifeoutreach.org. Donations are tax deductible.

SLOI Winter Coat Drive November 2023

Greetings and blessings to everyone, as the SLOI team marks another year of providing jackets, sweaters, and winter accessories to the homeless population and the Scott Mission in downtown Toronto. The team includes Pastor Anderson, Pastor Josephs, Pastor Honeyghan, Pastor Barnett, Brother Delroy Anderson, Brother Konrad Thompson, Brother Calvin, Sister Hope Carruthers, and Sister Petra Sutton. As the team gathered and assisted the several recipients in selecting these goods, we all got the opportunity to share and interact with the diverse men and women that participated.

 We discovered that the demand for specific clothing items, such as leggings, fleece pants, and accessories, increases year after year. As a result, the goal for 2024 is to raise awareness of this need among contributors and make every attempt to offer the much-needed supplies to individuals in need. The SLOI team also supplied coffee and donuts as a gift for the attendees.

In addition, the SLOI team handed numerous bags of coats, sweaters, winter accessories, and other clothes to the Toronto Scott Mission to help meet the needs of those they assist. Pastor Anderson thanks everyone who donated the items to the organization and applauds all of the volunteers who came out to support such a worthy cause. Many blessings to everyone.

SLOI December Food Drive

The SLOI team is very grateful to A-Supreme Foundation for their donation of 14 cases of fresh produce to the charity. Together, the volunteers and the founder gathered and packaged 35 bags full of essentials to give to the residents of the community.

SLOI September 2022 Food Drive

The SLOl team is at it again by meeting the needs of 36 recipients for the month of September. As we say goodbye to the summer and prepare for the fall season ahead, the team worked together to process the assortment of food items needed to fill each bag. It takes a team of dedicated members and volunteers who work side by side each month to make the food drive a success. Pastor Anderson, Mrs. Beverly Anderson Pastor Joel Josephs, Mr. Delroy Anderson, Jennifer Walker, Brother Calvin, Brother Konrad, Minister Linton, and Minister Ross take pride in all they do to assist those in the community.

Pastor Anderson is encouraging individuals to sign up on the website if they require a food basket. He also expressed his gratitude to each and every one of the donors who so generously supports SLOI  and all of its initiatives each month.

SLOI August 2022 Food Drive

The SLOl team did an awesome job of preparing 36 food bags for deserving families in our neighbouring community. The sorting and preparation of the bags were done by Pastor Anderson, Pastor Beverley Anderson, Pastor Joel Josephs, Mr. Delroy Anderson, Brother Calvin, Minister Linton, and Minister Rose. Pastor Anderson is urging everyone who needs assistance to register their name on the website.

SLOI Thanksgiving Turkey Drive 2023

Team SLOI celebrated yet another successful year of their annual Turkey Drive by distributing around 32
food bags, each containing a turkey, to numerous deserving recipients within the community. Pastor
Anderson, Pastor Beverley Anderson, Pastor Joel Josephs, Mr. Delroy Anderson, Brother Calvin, Brother
Konrad, Minister Linton, and Minister Ross collaborated to organize, pack, and distribute bags filled with
essential food items.
Pastor Anderson expresses gratitude to all the generous donors who contributed to this worthy cause, as
their support played a crucial role in making this campaign a resounding success. Thanks to their
immense generosity, SLOI was able to provide assistance to an additional seven families who were in
need.
Pastor Anderson, representing the SLOI Team, extends warm wishes for a joyful Thanksgiving to
everyone and their families. He is also grateful for his family and the blessings, love, grace, mercy, and
favour bestowed upon him by God.

SLOI Back-to-School Backpack Campaign September 2023

Pastor Anderson generously donated 30 backpacks to Revivaltime Worldwide Ministry in order to support their back-to-school initiatives for the children in the church. This donation was made on behalf of Save Life Outreach Initiatives.

The Seeds of Hope Summer Camp August 2023

Pastor Anderson participated in the Seeds of Hope Summer Camp, which was sponsored by Youth Unlimited. The camp was held at St. Wilfred Catholic School, located in the Jane and Finch neighbourhood. Reverend Anderson, who holds a 4th degree black belt in Tae Kwondo, mentored and taught self-defense and martial arts skills to the youths in attendance.

 Pastor Anderson is familiar with the group of young people who attended the camp. In the past, Pastor Anderson has extended invitations to numerous guest speakers in order to engage the camporees. The session held this year was a resounding success, as the young men and women displayed remarkable focus and determination. They enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to challenge themselves, while also enjoying the process of learning how to stay fit and boost their confidence. The supportive environment, surrounded by their peers, further enhanced their experience.

SLOI July 2023 Food Drive

The SLOI team held another successful food drive in July. Pastor Joel Josephs, Mr. Delroy Anderson, Brother Konrad, Brother Calvin, Minister Ross, Minister Linton, and Sister Sutton deserve special thanks. Pastor Anderson and the entire SLOI team would like to thank everyone who contributes to the charity
on a regular basis. Each donation is critical in assisting in the purchase of food supplies that stock each food bag that is distributed to the many recipients in the community. The need is great as we continue to
face the problems of rising food prices. However, we entrust all of our needs to God so that we may fulfill his will. And the SLOI team will continue to meet the needs of all recipients. To God be the glory.

SLOI June 2023 Food Drive

Six months into the year, June has successfully launched another food campaign with Team SLOI. Pastor Anderson, Pastor Beverley Anderson, Pastor Joel Josephs, Mr. Delroy Anderson, Brother Calvin, Brother Konrad, Minister Linton, and Minister Ross have laboriously assembled
30 grocery bags for the many registered recipients. With the rising cost of food and a need for donations, Save Life Outreach Initiatives has decreased the number of bags to 30 this month, with intentions to reduce it even more to 27. The organization’s mission is to aid and provide relief to individuals experiencing adversity. And by doing so, the SLOI team maintains its commitment to meeting the requirements of our community’s residents. Pastor Anderson encourages all those in need of assistance to complete the website registration process. In addition, he thanks everyone who has donated to SLOI and reminds others that we accept donations of any size as we continue to serve God and carry out His will.

It is inspiring to see how hard they are working to fulfill the needs of each SLOI recipient. Let us keep in mind the words of Jesus Christ: “I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give
than to receive’.”–Acts 20:32

SLOI April 2023 Food Drive

April has arrived, bringing with it mild weather and plenty of sunshine to brighten your day. The dedicated SLOI team has returned to pack 35 food baskets for distribution to the community’s numerous recipients. The need for funds remains high; nonetheless, we are grateful and blessed to be able to help
those in need.

Margaret Bingham, the president of Save Life Outreach Jamaica (SLOJ), who is visiting Canada for the first time, lend a helping hand in the process.

2023 SLOI Easter Bun Campaign

Pastor Anderson and his wife, Pastor Beverley Anderson, handed out over 40 Easter buns accompanied by cheese to the many recipients at Revivaltime Tabernacle Worldwide Ministries on a first-come, first-served basis.

Save Life Outreach Initiatives honours our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. Let us all celebrate and thank God for the ultimate sacrifice.

SLOI March 2023 Food Drive

Despite the cold temperatures, March has arrived, and spring has officially started. The SLOI team is back in action, sorting, packing, and distributing 35 grocery bags to many recipients in need.  Pastor Anderson, Pastor Joel Josephs, Mr. Delroy Anderson, Brother Calvin, Brother Konrad, Minister Linton, Minister Ross and sisters Janet Bogle-Thompson and Andrea Lue are all incredibly pleased with the work they do to assist local community members. 

The team is doing everything they can to help others, but there is a great need and not enough funding to satisfy the demands. We are making an appeal for support in the hopes that it will enable SLOI to continue to assist the community and to accommodate its evolving requirements. Pastor Anderson thanks all of the donors for their consistent monthly donations, and he encourages anyone in need to register on the website. 
As the seasons change, let us spring into action and be mindful of those in our community who are in need, and remember, “Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done.” – Proverbs 19:17.

The SLOI team celebrates Black History Month by recognizing all the great accomplishments that African Canadians and their communities have accomplished. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the dedicated SLOI team, a total of 35 food bags were packed and distributed to different community members.

SLOI January 2023 Food Drive

Happy new year to everyone, and best wishes for the upcoming year to the many supporters and their families. The founder and volunteer team at Save Life Outreach Initiatives are grateful for the ongoing generosity that makes it possible for them to keep helping those in need in the community.


The SLOI team organized and packaged 35 bags of groceries that were distributed to a large number of recipients to kick off the new year. The success of SLOI deserves praise and gratitude for the efforts of Pastor Anderson, Pastor Beverley Anderson, Pastor Joel Josephs, Mr. Delroy Anderson, Brother Konrad, Brother Calvin, Minister Linton, and Minister Ross.

Volunteer Appreciation Dinner

Pastor Anderson and Mrs. Beverley Anderson recognized the dedication and hard work of all the volunteers who helped to make the monthly food drive a success. The SLOI team had a great time at the Red Lobster restaurant on Saturday, October 8, 2022. Pastor Joel Josephs, Mr. Delroy Anderson, Ms. Jennifer Walker, Brother Calvin, Brother Konrad, Minister Linton, Ms. Petra Sutton, Pastor Anderson, and Mrs. Beverley Anderson were all in attendance. Minister Ross was not present at the celebration.

October 10, 2022 Food Drive

The SLOI Team wishes everyone a happy and blessed Thanksgiving. A turkey was included with the food bags of many families in the community. Thanks to the assistance of Pastor Anderson, Pastor Beverley Anderson, Pastor Joel Josephs, Mr. Delroy Anderson, Ms. Jennifer Walker, Brother Calvin, Brother Konrad, and Minister Linton for preparing and distributing the much-needed bags to this month’s incredibly grateful 35 recipients.

August 12, 2022

Pastor Anderson of the Revivaltime Tabernacle Youth Ministry and Mr. Rayon Morgan, a special guest speaker, addressed the youths. Mr. Morgan discussed his background and experiences as a former Jamaican police officer. He added that he was born in Jamaica and currently resides in Toronto after immigrating to Canada. Along with being an ordained preacher, Mr Morgan continued in the footsteps of his mother, who is a pastor. As an ex-police officer, Rayon has a lot of experience. Throughout his career, he came dangerously close to dying while protecting  and serving the community’s residents. He presently works as head of security for a large company.

The young adults were interested in and receptive to Mr. Morgan, and they took part in the session by asking questions. Pastor Anderson commented that the talk was enlightening and educational since Mr. Morgan was honest and forthright with the crowd of impressionable young people.

In collaboration with Youth Unlimited and The Scott Mission Toronto, team SLOI  distributed over 100 winter jackets to the homeless in downtown Toronto. A huge thanks to Bethany Chapel (22 McAdam Ave, North York, ON M6A 1S5) for their donation of winter jackets.

Back-to-School Campaign September 2021

Team SLOI, in partnership with RTT, handed out backpacks to children in the church and community. Another successful back-to-school drive, with lots of kids with happy faces. Apart from receiving the backpacks with books and pencils, the children also received goody bags filled with snacks and toiletries. 

As an added treat, cake and apple pie were served to everyone that was part of this charitable campaign.

Pastor Anderson and his wife, Beverley Anderson of Save Life Outreach, celebrated this event by handing out non-alcoholic sparkling wine plus a gift card to surprised fathers at their home church, Downsview, Toronto.
